TRS 9.5 Extension kit Version 3. POWDER COATED GLOSS BLACK not painted. FITS ALL NPS-50 2003 And Newer. Version 3 now mounts to cross brace, comes with beauty washers, and lighter deign. NO drilling out nuts required. Still has same 3piece locking design so everything is trued. No welding or cutting required. Shock Mount is shorter and has 2 positions to lower scooter more.
EVERY PIECE OF THIS IS MADE IN THE USA, Even the washers. We highly recommend a NCY SHOCK OR LOW DOWN SHOCK when upgrading to this mount as the factory shock is too soft . We also advise to look into our airbox eliminator kit for this as the oem airbox will not fit. Another great add would be the coolbox reservoir which sits higher on the bike for better clearance! Your stock coolant tank will hit. Many people get a coolbox or make their own.
Comes with all hardware, +6 Rear Brake line and 3 ft of Helix Translucent Fuel line. Will work with stock wheel, 12×5 and 10×5 . Will not work with Fatty 12×8.
Extra Installation Notes that does not apply to all :
- If you are using stock handle bars you will need a 75″ CVK Throttle cable and +6 brake cable that comes with kit will work.
- If you using a lowboy shock with a stock tire you will need tighten pre-load and raise to highest setting by unscrewing the base. See picture below.
- If you are using a stock Coolant tank you will need to drill a hole 1/2 below existing hole on coolant bracket.

Had a customer wanting to stretch his ruckus out. After searching and reviews. Went with this bracket, well built, good steel and welds look great. Installed on a 2016 Honda ruckus, a little tight but fit perfectly. Brake cable could be about 4 inches longer. From start to finish took me 5 hours and no mods. Ruck shop people very helpful and answered questions quickly. Will buy more parts from them. Customer loved the extension perfect length

picked up this 9.5 stretch and it definitely gave me the look i wanted. make sure you get an aftermarket shock because the stock one will be too soft. i didnt read the description and found out. great product and the powder coat came out the same color as my ruck.

Just installed this Kit!!
Very satisfied looks great.. very sterdy and gurthy lol completely changes the look of my stock ruck.. they should just make em like this off the assembly line in my opinion..
But speaking as a complete noob in the motorcycle/scooter fabrication business .. it is def. do-able.. def. need 2 people, would make it a lot easier.. just label each hose and wiring harness that you unplug and you should be alright…
and you def. need to lower the handlebars.. cuz that way your original brake cable and throttle will still work! you will have to change the gas hose that is supplied with this kit but no biggie..
And yes as much as I hated it, there will be a grinder involved!!! to grind out the bolts underneath the frame where the ext. mounts.. I’ve seen other products where the frame already comes “dipped” in the places where the bolts are(so you don’t have to grind anything off).. but this looks more solid… more metal for support.
oh and the “stock” shock will be fine!.. I hear a lot of people complaining that the original shock is too soft and that you will bottom out!? NOT TRUE!!! but then again I have a brand new 2019 ruck! idk if they changed anything from previous years..
So I hope this answers a few questions.. I wish someone explained it like this to me before lol your welcome

Question!!!! So if you have lowered bars, do you not need a longer throttle cable and brake cable?

2024 Ruckus 49cc here. Although I plan on swapping out the handlebars, you need to find a throttle extension cable if you plan to keep those original. Also note that you need a side/kick stand in lieu of the center stand. I am using the original shock in back on the rear-most mounting hole. Otherwise, the motor pitches up and makes contact with the main bracket and coolant tank when on the stand.
