This TVR air intake kit was designed with the Honda Ruckus/Metropolitan tuner in mind. It is fully adjustable to maximize the power and efficiency of your GET Honda Ruckus no matter the temperature, altitude, or humidity levels in your area, and now comes with full silicone hose for strength and longevity. Through obsessive studying of pulse waves through the GET’s intake plenum, carburetor, and intake runner length/shape, this intake has met the requirements of the GET to perform tremendously through all rpm ranges, and to continue providing appropriate air fuel ratios all the way to 10,500 rpm.

The intake utilizes a smooth, gradual bend intake arm that doesn’t leave air colliding just before the inlet of the carb like other systems available.  This keeps air velocity at its max and keeps the column of air being delivered through the manifold and head as stable as possible also with the aid of the bracket. The velocity stack has also been selected by both taper and total outer radius in relation to how much air can be pulled through the stock carb. Simple and precise adjustments to the air/fuel ratio for your geographic location are as simple as pulling the velocity stack further out of the intake arm to lean out the mixture (>12.5 Air/Fuel Ratio) and pushing the velocity stack further into the intake arm to richen up the mixture (<12.5 Air/Fuel Ratio). The depth of which the velocity stack was mounted in the intake arm from The Ruck Shop is the perfect depth (1.5 INCHES FROM STACK LIP TO HOSE) for the jetting setup in warmer/summer temperatures.

The jetting that performed the best with the kit was a 78 main jet, the needle shim, and a 38 slow jet. This, of course, required adjustment of the idle mixture screw and worked in collaboration with the increased flow from a GET Yoshimura Exhaust System.

You will not need to touch the air/fuel mixture screw as it is not recommended. This does not help with the tuning past idling. If you did accidentally the factory setting is all the way tight then 2 and 1/4 turns back.

Bracket will have to be hand bent to mount. Comes raw , paint or powder coat it for that custom look.

You will need to block off your REED AKA PAR or PAIR VALVE with a cap or plug. We Now offer a BLOCK OFF PLATE instead of using a bolt or cap. Make it look nice.

*WE HAVE USED THESE VELOCITY STACKS ON OUR PERSONAL HONDA RUCKUS IN FLORIDA DOWN POURS WITH NO ISSUES WITH RAIN OR DIRT. THE VELOCITY STACK IS FACING THE SIDE AND THE CARB DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH SUCTION TO PULL IN WATER.
